Sanskrita Foundation is a dedicated trust to promote Arts & culture in India. Sanskrita Dance Institute & Foundation Mumbai is one of the reputed institute in Mumbai.
It was developed by Odissi exponent Smt. Shubhada Varadkar in 2006 with the support of like minded enthusiasts. It organizes and supports a number of initiatives in the area of art and culture, particularly projects presenting and highlighting the everlasting progressive values of India’s rich cultural heritage. It is one of the most trusted foundations in Mumbai. We organize our own events and donate the amount to the hospitals. Sanskrita foundation's special training classes for under privileged children.The Sanskrita Foundation Team addresses the psycho-social, physical, logistical and financial barriers which are faced by the ones with special needs and underprivileged individuals so that they can reach their goals in dance. As members of the Sanskrita Foundation Team, talented individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds are provided the training, performance platforms and opportunities to make a career out of dancing to support their ongoing livelihood. Changing the lives of children is a continuous process. Nothing can be done in a limited period. As individuals we have to continue to give support by way of financial help, time as well as other resources. I believe in continuity and devotion without deviation. Sanskrita Foundation is doing just that.
